The details that make it work

A brushed wool-blend fabric gives the coat enough structure to hold the longline, double-breasted shape without collapsing into folds when belted, which is what keeps the silhouette clean whether it's worn open or buttoned. The self-tie belt and welt hip pockets are cut into the pattern rather than added on, so they sit flat against the body. Dry clean recommended to protect the wool finish.
