The details that make it work

Lightweight insulation fills the horizontal quilted channels, so the warmth is spread evenly across the body rather than bunching at the hem. The glossy finish gives it a sharper, more modern look than a matte puffer and brushes off light drizzle. A full-zip front sits under a snap-button storm flap to keep the wind out where a single zip usually lets it in. A snap-on hood adds cover on the coldest days, and the elasticated cuffs seal the sleeves. The cut is fitted enough to look neat but leaves room for a jumper underneath.
